Directions to the museum
By car
There is a parking lot approximately 220 metres (240 yards) away from the Atlantikwall-Museum. The museum is located alongside the pier, which cannot be accessed by car. The museum can be reached on foot from the parking lot.

Please follow these directions when leaving from the parking lot.
- Walk in westerly direction from the parking lot and cross the Koningin Emmaboulevard (see the map below). Please be careful as there is no pedestrian crossing on this road.
- Follow the path towards the river on the Western side of the Koningin Emmaboulevard.
- Turn right at the crossing of the path.
- Follow the path to the entrance of the pier and pass through the entrance gate for pedestrians next to the barrier.
- Proceed for approximately 100 metres (110 yards).
- The museum is to your right.
By public transport
You can take line B to Hook of Holland of the Rotterdam light rail company (RET) to travel to ‘Hoek van Holland Strand’ station. From there you can reach us on foot, with a ten to fifteen minute walk.

- Make a U-turn when walking out of the station and follow the ‘Badweg’ road towards the village. Just about halfway down this road you can spot a fenced in bunker, which is also looked after by our foundation. This is however not our visitor centre, continue walking down the road.
- Cross the Badweg road at the crossing opposite the restaurant ‘Jagershuis’ and go left to follow the road even further.
- Turn right on the corner, onto the ‘Koningin Emma’ boulevard.
- At the next footpath junction, to the right of the vessel tariff control tower, turn right onto the pier and pass through the gate next to the barrier.
- Continue walking for about 100 metres.
- The museum is on your right hand side.
