Donations are of high importance to the museum. Our current collection is in no small part made
up of donated artefacts - and donated sums of money are used to maintain and further develop the museum. There are two ways to donate to the museum:

Donating an item
Perhaps you have an historical item in your home that you wish to give a fitting purpose. The museum is always on the lookout for items related to the Second World War. When you donate an item to the museum you can be assured that it’s going toward a good cause!
The museum is interested in items related to the local history of Hoek van Holland (Hook of Holland) and the region (and municipality) known as Westland. If you are in possession of photographs, diaries, charts or maps, post cards or any other items (both civilian or military) and have no further use for them, you can be our hero! In case of photographs it may be feasible to only make a scanned copy and have the original remain in your possession if you prefer so.

If you wish to make a simple financial donation to our museum you may do so using the following details. Our IBAN bank account number is: NL 83 INGB 0004 7615 17 in the name of ‘Stichting Vesting Hoek van Holland’. Please make sure to mention ‘gift’ in the box designated for remarks. It is also possible to make your donation in person at the registry in our museum.
